Alicia’s background includes over 20 years in the dance and performing arts industry and performing at different venues all over the metroplex growing up. After moving to Decatur she left her dance shoes behind and started working for Decatur ISD, for several years, with special needs children. She decided it was time for a change and made the leap into real estate to begin flipping houses with her late husband, Dan. The process of flipping takes hard work, discipline and attention to detail that will stay with her throughout her career as an agent and will give her clients just as much grit as she did the homes that she helped to renovate.
Alicia is very family-oriented and adores spending time with her 3 grown children, Savanna, Grant and Sadie, along with her 3 grandchildren and her lab, Maverick, that goes everywhere she does. He’s even been in some listing videos. She has a love of the great outdoors, traveling, flea markets, gardening, working out and redoing furniture when she can find the time.
Alicia has been a Realtor for over 6 years and is not afraid to try new approaches and think creatively to solve problems and find solutions for her clients in a changing market. She loves showing sellers how stage their property by using existing furnishings and accessories that the homeowner already has, which helps a home sell faster and look more appealing to buyers. The willingness to try new things sets her apart and helps me to consistently deliver value to her clients. She will listen and strive to meet her clients needs and she works well with agents on the other side of the transaction in order to get the deal done.
